1. Storage requirements:
It should be stored in a cool and dry place. It is strictly forbidden to expose it to the sun (the protective film cannot be torn off), rain, and it is strictly forbidden to stack it directly on the cement floor.
2. Selection of sealant:
Neutral silicone sealant should be used. It is strictly forbidden to use glass glue with acid and alkali properties instead.
3. Screw fixation:
Rivets cannot be used to install embossed polycarbonate sheet. Diamond polycarbonate sheet projects with curved shapes cannot be screwed on the sheet surface because its own internal stress will cause the embossed polycarbonate sheet to crack. It is also not recommended to screw and fix the embossed polycarbonate sheet with flat slope shape on the sheet surface. If the diamond polycarbonate sheet must be screwed to fix the embossed polycarbonate sheet, the screws must be applied with special waterproof gaskets, and each screw hole position needs to be pre-drilled (expanded). The drilling diameter should be 4mm larger than the screw diameter to avoid cracking when the sheet expands and contracts.
4. Use environment:
Embossed polycarbonate sheet is afraid of acid and alkali. It cannot be directly in contact with cement brick walls when used, and cannot be used in acid and alkali substances and gas environments.
5. Protective film:
The function of the protective film is to prevent the polycarbonate embossed sheet from scratching the board surface during transportation and installation. It should be torn off immediately after the construction is completed.
6. Cutting:
You can use a high-speed fine-tooth circular saw to cut, but pay attention to the slow speed of the circular saw. You can also use a portable electric saw. In any case, pay attention to support near the cutting point and remove the dust and debris generated during cutting.
7. Cleaning
① Generally speaking, rainwater self-cleaning is sufficient. Diluted household detergent can be used to clean local and narrow areas.
② Make sure that the detergent does not contain corrosive agents or organic solvents.
③Avoid dry cleaning, as adherent dust particles may scratch the surface of the sheet.
④ Large areas can be rinsed with a water gun.
